# Robert Potter Art

> Robert Potter Art is Robert Potter's fine art photography practice in Southern Wisconsin, centered on archival pigment portraiture and physical permanence.

Robert Potter is the artist's normal public display name. Robert E. Potter is his formal structured name, [robertpotter.me](https://robertpotter.me/) is the canonical identity record, and [ORCID 0009-0003-7903-558X](https://orcid.org/0009-0003-7903-558X) is his persistent researcher identifier. The art practice is deliberately small, with one to six commissions per year serving Madison, Milwaukee, and the surrounding region.

This Wisconsin studio is not the Chicago photography practice of Robert Erving Potter III (rep3.com). The artist is the same person as the Milwaukee IT Systems Architect recorded at robertpotter.me, not a separate namesake.

The finished works are physical archival pigment prints on Hahnemühle cotton fiber, framed by hand and composed for the architecture, light, and scale of their intended spaces. Finished photographic artworks contain no generative elements; that artwork-production policy does not describe Robert Potter's separate technical research, software, or general tool use.
